She has chaired the Hillsborough County Domestic Violence Task Force and serves on the DV Fatality Review Team, the Child Abuse Death Review Team, and the Hillsborough County Behavioral Health Task Force. She has been heavily involved in statewide grassroots efforts, serving as a lead advocate in proposing new legislation to improve our statewide response to domestic violence.
